This is an update (sequel?) to a previous police brutality compilation video that Jason Nellis submitted to CopBlock.org (by way of Nevada Cop Block) about a year ago. This version is almost twice as long (because the hits just keep coming) and also includes some incidents involving Las Vegas area security, as well as local actions by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), who are employed by the Federal Government.
In the description to the video, on YouTube, Jason writes (links added):
(This is) A 2nd video compiling clips of excessive force and sometimes killing by law enforcement and security in and around Las Vegas. Mostly Metro (Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department) but also multiple abuses by hotel security guards, especially on Fremont Street downtown, and by the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) outside of the city.
Last year I made the first part (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgg3C…) in “preparation” for the More Cops Tax vote at the County Commission, which was defeated. That was attempted to be brought back in the past couple months by the new Sheriff (former Sheriff Doug Gillespie announced he wouldn’t run for reelection after the loss), but now it appears indefinitely detained. We need to keep an eye out for that to be brought back though and I’ll update this as we get word.
And over the past year such huge national attention has been brought to police brutality and people in general are recording the police more than ever, consistently, and law enforcement agencies across the country are taking notice, and some are even taking responsible steps in the right direction. We keep this up and they’ll remember we the people are who they have to answer to. The problem is still rampant and out here there appears to be a growing problem in our recently revitalized and hyped-up yet gentrified Fremont East district of the Downtown corridor; awareness and pressure are the keys right now against tyranny, and social media is the primary avenue.

That was actually pretty textbook control. It is a good illustration that even when someone is in handcuffs, they aren’t “under control.” The “lateral neck restraint” is lawful and trained in Vegas.
Considering this was nearly a year old, and nothing has surfaced, no one died, I’d say there’s nothing to see here.
The one in the court room is a mess, I think both cops were termed and one was charged.
The other video is security guards, not the police handling a drunk. Not sure why that’s here.
The street dancer was actually wanted and it was only the cop who didn’t know it. Though I do like how he says “my daddy’s an officer” and the other saying, “you aint read no rights.”
The next one the two seeming unarmed officers and another chokehold, he was clearly resisting, he was clearly obstruction their investigation about a battery. Its a legit usage of a hold.
The bar one, I would say the main cop was excessive.
What is so scary is how juries have let the officers off. i remember horrible video was on youtube where cops smothered a man name Thomas Kelly. Thomas screamed for minutes he could not breath. and some of his last words were him , Daddy daddy help me they are killing me.” So cops now have used that case to smother and then all along stating into their voice piece they are struggling. Body camera on all cops they work. And no special rights above private citizens. You heard that cop i dont care if i ill him. it isn’t his problem. There is no accountability. There isn’t even a fear of monitory lawsuit which would be much lower form of guilt then criminal guilt. No accountability an they know it.
How can an officer say, “i don’t give a shit!”… they are being INFORMED, and given NOTICE by a witness of a potential FALSE ARREST. That officer is possibly destroying evidence by NOT taking the report of the citizen. That officer is possibly interfering with an investigation (by a citizen). Possibly Aiding and abetting a false arrest. Possibly Colluding. And possibly causing injury to a person’s CONSTITUTIONALLY PROTECTED RIGHTS. And possibly failing in duty to care, serve, protect?
What gets me is why people believe they can ignore lawful orders given to them by the police, then wonder why they get the shit beat out of them. All the while chanting they know their rights. You have the RIGHT to obey and succumb PERIOD. If citizens don’t like it, have the laws changed through legal channels instead of confronting Peace Officers just doing what the establishment tells them to do. CHANGE THE ESTABLISHMENT !!……… Oh and good luck with that.
